Fiscal Associate - Aging

Work Schedule: M - F, 8:00am. to 5:00pm 

Provides clerical support for the Assessment and In-Home Services Unit including scheduling, planning, and administrative support for the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waiver programs along with other duties as needed.

• Communicate with customers via telephone.
• Answer incoming calls and make outgoing phone calls to customers regarding Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) assessment and reassessment.
• Assist customers, listen patiently to concerns, answer questions regarding HCBS assessment services, and consult with supervisor if concerns cannot be resolved.

• Schedule assessments for HCBS Waiver programs.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation on each interaction in the client file and electronic client record Management Information System (MIS).
• Utilize computer to research client geographical location and address.
• Research database systems for client eligibility status for the HCBS Waiver programs.
• Develop and mail outreach letters to consumers in attempt to contract when unreachable by phone.
• Electronic records management: Electronically sort and file consumer records and assessments.
• Maintain Call List in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and make reminder appointment phone calls to consumers.
• Assist with research and update of monthly FAI reassessment consumer list.


Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma, Minimum of two years of experience in data entry. Minimum of two years of customer service experience in office based position. Intermediate or advanced computer skills needed in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Access.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Three years or greater experience providing administrative support and data entry in an office based position. Ideal candidate will have appointment scheduling experience and understanding of the HCBS Waiver program services. Bilingual skills a plus.
