AIMS Coordinator - COMCARE

Work Schedule: M-F, 8a - 5p and after hours as needed 

Supports one or more applications used by one or more departments in Human Services. This position provides analytical support to the Human Services management team by developing reports based on data captured in departmental applications. It works to enhance application availability and user satisfaction. Under general supervision, considerable judgment is expected within a dynamic work environment. It provides and implements new application ideas to all areas of Human Services where new technology may be used to improve efficiency and productivity. Assists with other information technology related projects.

Oversight and Coordination of data reporting

  • Review, consult and monitor COMCARE programs and our affiliate to insure accurate data completion by State Mandated deadlines.
  • Responsible for analyzing edit reports for COMCARE and affiliates data and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Write New AIMS Process and procedures for Affiliates.
  • Conduct training for COMCARE and Affiliates on AIMS process.

Provide Customer support

  • Delete out documents/transactions that were entered in error per providers.
  • Discharge all episodes, make referrals as needed.
  • Help Avatar users with issues, as needed.
  • Test new versions prior to implementation (specifically all AIMS process)

Monitor Avatar System Process and Data Quality and timely execution.

  • Using existing reports and reminder systems, verify background applications and interface are functioning and data is being posted correctly. Verify data entered by staff meets data quality requirements for reporting and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public or Business Administration, Social Work, Computer Science or a related field. One to three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied administrative work in a public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, budgeting or procurement or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s license and current proof of automobile insurance. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and meet driver qualification standards as set forth in Sedgwick County’s Fleet Vehicle Operation and Usage policy. Meet the specifications as outlined in the CMHC licensing standards and pass KBI, DCF child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screens. Must complete orientations provided by Sedgwick County and COMCARE.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public or Business Administration, Social Work, Computer Science or a related field. Three to four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied administrative work in a public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, basic IT skills, budgeting or procurement or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
