Data Entry Associate - AGING

Work Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri  

Providing advanced data entry and clerical support for the Central Plains Area Agency on Aging / Aging and Disability Resource Center (CPAAA/ADRC), Administrative Case Management (ACM) Program and Assessment and In-Home Services Unit.

 

Data Entry:

  • Completes accurate and timely data entry for assigned Medicaid Waiver programs in the CPAAA electronic client record Management Information System (Nterfuse) and Kansas Assessment Management Information System (KAMIS).
  • Continuous quality review of electronic consumer records for accuracy. Make updates and corrections in KAMIS and Nterfuse as needed.
  • Upload required forms and track completed assessments in KAMIS.
  • Timely processing of consumer forms in accordance with contract policy.

 

Administrative Functions:

  • Complete ACM and Medicaid Waiver Quality Review (QR) including research and submit report within audit deadline.
  • Develop and mail outreach letters to consumers for ACM services.
  • Maintain ACM and Medicaid assessment and recertification in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
  • Electronic Records Management: Monitor Outlook Fax Mailbox, electronically sort and file ACM consumer documentation and records.

 

Unit Support: 

  • Records Management of ACM and FAI consumer files including filing, chart audits and archiving for long term file storage.
  • Special projects and additional duties as needed which supports the Assessment and In-Home Services Unit and agency.

 

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of experience in data entry. Minimum of two years of customer service experience in office based position. Intermediate or advanced computer skills needed in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Access.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience in the field of aging or physical disabilities. Ideal candidate will have experience working for an Area Agency on Aging, or Physical Disabilities provider. Bilingual skills a plus.
