Bookkeeper - COMCARE

Work Schedule: M - F, 8a - 5p 

 

Main point of contact to arrange all aspects of employee development and continuing education credits (CEUs) (including: travel, registration, payment, travel credit cards reconciliation and reimbursement). Maintains tracking spreadsheets for driver’s license and insurance of COMCARE, CDDO, and Division of Health employees as well as organizing the new employee orientation attendance. Responsible for flex funds and petty cash distribution, as well as reconciliation of these funds. Reviews all mileage logs submitted by COMCARE and CDDO employees.

 

Arranges all aspect of employee development, continuing education, and review of mileage logs

  • Arranges flights, hotels, travel credit cards, and transportation for employees attending training in and out of State
  • Completes reconciliation of travel credit cards
  • Registers employees and processes payments for trainings that employees are approved to attend
  • Reviews requested and pre-approved reimbursements to employees Reviews all mileage logs submitted through SAP
  • Verify mileage submitted is accurate and no duplicate lines are listed in the log

 

Maintains tracking spreadsheets in order to comply with policies

  • Continuing Education Credits database: tracks employee CEUs and ensures employees utilized this benefit appropriately and according to the policy
  • Case Management Live Training: tracks employees for COMCARE and MHA required to attend
  • Driver’s License and Insurance spreadsheet: tracks employee DL and insurance expiration dates; request new copies prior to expiration, and updates employee file on on-base
  • New Employee Orientation (NEO) spreadsheet: tracks when new employees are scheduled to attend COMCARE’s NEO and sends emails out two weeks prior to NEO to all employee scheduled to attend
  • Jury Duty Report: tracks employees served for jury duty, per pay period, and request the Flat Daily Rate be paid back to County
  • Cell Phone Reimbursement: tracks employees who are approved to receive monthly reimbursement for cell phone usage as part of their job duties.

 

Manage and process flex funds and petty cash

  • Distributes flex funds as needed to COMCARE employees
  • Reconciles flex funds to ensure funds are used appropriately
  • Assist in Contract Management Database
  • Input Housing Rental Assistance Agreements and Amendments into the contract management system to be reviewed and approved by appropriate County officials
  • Maintain spreadsheet to cross-reference amendments to original agreements.

 

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of equivalent experience. Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s license and current proof of automobile insurance. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and meet driver qualification standards as set forth in Sedgwick County’s Fleet Vehicle Operation and Usage policy. Meet the specifications as outlined in the CMHC licensing standards and pass KBI, SRS child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and motor vehicle screens. Must complete orientations provided by Sedgwick County and COMCARE.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Some College. Three plus years of equivalent experience.
