Data Entry Associate - COVID Results Calls

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

 

This is a temporary position in the Sedgwick County Health Department for COVID-19 response. Provide COVID-19 results to clients. Manage COVID-19 results voicemail box. Perform advanced clerical work. Assist with producing and sending quarantine and isolation letters to clients. Perform data entry of client information into contact tracing and case management systems. Schedule meetings and appointments and other clerical duties related to COVID-19 Response. Process client data and ensure client confidentiality.

 

Provide COVID-19 results in a timely manner

  • Complete all calls or voicemails assigned per protocol
  • Document calls and client information per protocol
  • Use proper phone etiquette
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients through email or over the phone
  • Ensure client confidentiality

 

Perform accurate and timely data entry of client information into contact tracing and case management systems

  • Create/update client information and accurately complete data entry
  • Audit data to verify information is correct and complete
  • Correct errors timely
  • Ensure client confidentiality

 

Assist with producing and sending quarantine and isolation letters to clients

  • Produce standard letters with accurate client information and prepare for mailing
  • Maintain log of activities
  • Ensure client confidentiality

 

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, including or supplemented by course work in bookkeeping, accounting, or related fiscal work.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Post-high school course work in bookkeeping, accounting, or related fiscal work. One year of experience in fiscal work, billing, and/or customer service environment. Work experience in a public health department. Bilingual in English and either Spanish or Vietnamese.
