Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Performs clerical and bookkeeping tasks in the recording and maintenance of financial records. Applies bookkeeping skills for tasks such as checking entries, balancing accounts, and preparing reports. Works with external vendors and taxpayers to streamline the tax collection process.

 

 

Update Real Estate tax coding on each property for Lenders, Service Companies, and taxpayers with multiple properties.

  • Communicate between IT group, Lenders, Servicers, and Taxpayers to ensure each PIN is coded accurately
  • Upload data for Servicing companies to review
  • Prepare notifications electronically and by mail for changes to PIN’s

 

Process tax payments received from Lenders, Service Companies, and taxpayers with multiple properties

  • Generate and mail tax statements
  • Post and balance tax payments
  • Provide updates to supervisor during peak tax season

 

Responsible for all Lender and Servicer research requests

  • Conduct research using tax system and imaging systems
  • Create packet with all necessary documentation for tax accounting team
  • Create notes in tax system for each PIN.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: One year of experience in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. One year of experience in Customer Service. Up to two years of experience (all) may be substituted with education that provides applicable knowledge and skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in governmental accounting or financial operations. Associate’s Degree from an Accredited College or University in Accounting or Finance.
