Performs specialized clerical and bookkeeping tasks in the recording and maintenance of precise fiscal records and financial data. Applies fundamental bookkeeping knowledge and skills to varied standard bookkeeping tasks such as posting, checking entries, balancing accounts, and preparing reports. Must frequently enter data into computerized financial systems in order to accomplish assigned work.
Monitors and updates Real Estate tax coding on each PIN for Lenders, Service Companies, and taxpayer multiples in the Tax System
- Ongoing communication/coordination required between IT group and Lenders, Servicers and taxpayers to ensure each PIN is coded accurately
- Uploads Codes file to our SFTP electronic pay site
- Prepares and mails correspondence for changes to PIN listings
Processes tax payments received from Lenders, Service Companies and Multi codes
- Generates tax statements
- Posts and Balances payments in daily cashiering session
- Submits daily work to Tax Team Supervisor
Responsible for all Lender and Servicer research requests and refunds or transfers of payments
- Thoroughly research using tax system and imaging systems
- Create packet with all necessary documentation for Accounting
- Place notes in tax system for each PIN, thoroughly explaining each situation
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. One to two years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping field.
Preferred Qualifications: Two to five years’ experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping field.
