Talent Management Coordinator

Performs varied clerical and office work to conduct standard duties. Provides clerical support for one or more professional employees. Performs specialized clerical and bookkeeping tasks in the maintenance of precise fiscal records. Coordinates candidate interviews and schedules completion of new hire documents. Maintains all files related to payroll including; active, inactive, medical, training, reports, etc. Responsible for tracking all required training and coordinates scheduling with applicable supervisors. Responsible for the archival documents including; order, preserving and scanning.

 

Administrative  Support & Relations

  • Composes correspondence, reports, forms, and invoices working from rough drafts, verbal instructions or established procedures
  • Records minutes at assigned meetings
  • Reviews and proofs documents
  • Compiles, copies, and completes data for reports, bulletins, questionnaires and other documents; makes varied arithmetical computations on materials assembled
  • Coordinates schedules updates calendars to coordinate efforts by team members and schedules meeting rooms
  • Updates and maintains information as requested to websites
  • Schedules and coordinates all aspects of professional development presentations
  • Maintains and files archival information
  • Drive Zoological Society owned vehicles, as needed.

 

Personnel Records/Files 

  • Schedule interviews for candidates
  • Schedule and coordinate initial new hire employment verification documents with candidates
  • Maintains file system for all employment related documents, ensuring files are in compliance with Local, State and Federal requirements
  • Maintains good communication between all departments for accurate processing of personnel records
  • Update and prepare hiring packets and other documents related to employee files

 

Training/Documentation

  • Act as Zoo Liaison for training opportunities
  • Tracks training for all employees
  • Schedule trainings or presentations that related to employee development or benefits
  • Schedules on-boarding meetings for new and returning team members

 

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma. Two years coursework from an accredited college or university or two years of experience. Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Per Sedgwick County policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid driver’s license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance. Out-of-state driver’s license accepted upon hire with ability to obtain a valid State of Kansas Driver’s License within 30 days of employment.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Business or Administration from an accredited college or university. 3 years in administration. Valid State of Kansas Driver’s License.
