As a Database Administrator at Sedgwick County, your focus will be on configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting database servers and databases.

 

We run on Microsoft SQL Server. A successful Database Administrator will bring a strong sense of responsibility for the performance, availability and security of the database assets under their care. Because we run on Microsoft SQL Server, a Database Administrator should be conversant in T-SQL scripting. You will also encounter the full range of SQL Server features, including SSRS reports, SSIS packages, and replication. Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge is helpful for process automation.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in database administration or database development. Must be conversant in Microsoft SQL Server administration and T-SQL scripting.
