Enterprise Systems Analyst supports several enterprise-level systems. They adapt technology systems and tools to help the organization be more effective. Solves difficult problems, adjust technology deployments, provide support to IT Architects and IT Managers, guide clients and use their ingenuity to create alternate paths to help clients achieve their end goals.

 

Backup System

  • Maintain license compliancy and other pertinent information.
  • Install, Troubleshoot, and Maintain Operational Awareness for backup system, keeping a high priority on critical backups.
  • Maintain backup system software including updates and patches.
  • Keep up to date on backup software and new technologies on the market.
  • Maintain license compliancy and other pertinent information.
  • Watch for failed backups and correct errors.
  • Maintain space and be proactive to make sure there are no interruptions in the backup process.

 

Server Administration

  • Provides rapid response and corrective adjustments necessary to eliminate long periods of down time enabling users to accomplish normal work without substantial interruptions.
  • Installs, configures and customizes hardware and software; including installation of operating systems.
  • Maintains software and resolves problems.  
  • Communicate with vendors for technical support.
  • Configures interfaces to other software and computer networks.
  • Maintain Documentation of the system are critical for emergencies.

 

365 Administration

  • Maintain and troubleshoot the internal side of 365 connectivity and functionality.
  • Be security minded on all systems to help protect the County as a whole
  • Be proactive and seek out new information to help develop and maintain messaging systems
  • Keep up to date on Microsoft features and best practices for 365 utilizations.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related IT Degree or any combination of education, experience, certification and training equivalent. Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, installation, maintenance and problem resolution of 365 Tenants, Server Administration, and Enterprise Backup Solutions. Per Sedgwick County policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid Kansas driver’s license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, installation, maintenance and problem resolution of 365 Tenants, Server Administration, Enterprise Backup Solutions, and Enterprise Patching Solutions, and Virtual Hypervisors. Bachelor’s Degree in a related IT Degree or any combination of education, experience, certification and training equivalent. MCSA/MCSE, VCP-DCV.
